The plot is predominantly oriented towards the southeast, with a topography that sharply descends from the position of the street on the north side, and then gently slopes towards a small river which defines the boundary of the plot. The disposition of the building is carefully chosen after thorough delineation and analysis of the geometry of the topography, as well as attention to the high and low vegetation.Â
The house is precisely positioned on the contour line in the upper part of the terrain. In this way,the house utilizes the length of the plot, becoming a long(28m) and narrow (5m)architectural gesture that maximally frees the yard and creates a street front. Thus,the building becomes an observatory with a landscape view of the Bistra mountain and openings in the form of balconies towards the lake to the east and the mountain range to the west.
